What We Remove

We remove almost anything including furniture, appliances, electronics, mattresses, construction debris, yard waste, and general household junk. Common items include old couches, refrigerators, washers and dryers, TVs, computers, exercise equipment, hot tubs, and shed contents.

For safety and legal reasons, we cannot accept hazardous materials such as paint, chemicals, asbestos, fuel, propane tanks, or medical waste. We also cannot take items containing Freon unless they've been professionally certified as emptied. We're happy to provide guidance on proper disposal options for these items.

Our pricing is based on volume - how much space your items take up in our truck. We use quarter-load, half-load, three-quarter-load, and full-load pricing tiers. This is more fair than weight-based pricing since we're handling everything. We provide transparent pricing before we start loading.

Junk Removal FAQs

Junk removal costs are based on volume. A quarter truckload typically costs $150-$250, half load $250-$400, three-quarter load $400-$550, and full load $550-$750. Prices vary by location and specific items (some items like appliances or mattresses have disposal fees). We provide upfront quotes before loading begins, so there are no surprises. You only pay for the space your items actually occupy.
No, we cannot accept hazardous materials including paint, chemicals, solvents, pesticides, oil, gasoline, propane tanks, asbestos, or medical waste. We also cannot take appliances containing Freon unless they have been properly certified and emptied by a licensed technician. For hazardous waste disposal, contact your local municipal hazardous waste facility - most cities have free drop-off days throughout the year.
Yes! We offer same-day service in most areas when you call before noon. Our crews work throughout British Columbia, Alberta, and Manitoba, and we can often accommodate last-minute requests. Next-day service is available in nearly all areas. This is perfect for urgent cleanouts, estate sales, or when you need to clear space quickly.
Yes! We partner with local charities and thrift stores throughout Western Canada. Items in good, usable condition are donated rather than disposed of. If you request a donation receipt when booking, we'll provide documentation for the items we donate on your behalf. This receipt can be used for tax deduction purposes. We'll provide details about which charity received your items.
It's helpful if you can be present at the start to show our crew what needs to be removed and get the final quote, but you don't need to stay for the entire job. Many customers prefer to clearly mark or point out items, approve the quote, and then leave us to do the work. We can also work from detailed instructions if you absolutely cannot be present.
We're committed to environmental responsibility. We sort everything at our facility and route items appropriately: usable furniture and household goods go to local charities, metals and electronics go to recycling centers, wood and construction debris go to waste-to-energy facilities when possible, and only true garbage goes to landfills. On average, we divert over 60% of collected items from landfills through donation and recycling programs.
